Language Objective: Students will discuss and critique video product reviews. 

Agenda: 

1.) Read this week's Article of the Week: 5 Ways to Judge the Socci Olympics and answer the following questions: 

• What are three things you learned in this article? 
  
• After reading this article, reflect on the author's purpose and who the audience of this article might be. 
  
• What do you think the Winter Olympics in Socci will be judged on the most? Explain your answer. 

2.) Share your findings in your groups and with the class.
3.) Watch your period's Video Product Reviews posted on Ms. Floch's English Channel
4.) After watching each video, briefly answer the following three questions: 

• What was the strongest argument the group made for the product they recommended? 
• What was the strongest argument against any of the products reviewed? 
• Which product would you buy after watching the review? 

5.) Write for five minutes about how your group worked together during the production of your video review. Did everyone split the work equally? Did one or more people do all the work? Where there any other issues I should be aware of?
