1. Read your Quarter 2 Book for 15 minutes.
2. Reading Journal:
What makes a book a “good” book in your opinion? For five minutes, write about specific characteristics a book (or any story, really, if you can’t think of a book) would have to have to make you keep turning pages.
3. Daily Dose of Grammar:
Which sentence is correct?

4. Finish up your resumes:

5. Double check your spelling, grammar, and overall formatting (no filler text, everything must be clean and well-formatted.)
6. Peer Review (Share your resume with two partners):
- What is working well?
- Is the formatting consistent and clean?
- Are all skills and qualifications listed in a way that is professional and advantageous?
- Anything that's missing or could be expanded?
7. Give one, get one:
Write three resume-writing tips on separate sticky notes and exchange them with a partner once the music stops.
